( Kuala Lumpur, 6th August 2020 ) The Holstein Milk Company, which owns Farm Fresh, a well-known fresh milk brand in Malaysia, is planning an initial public offering (IPO), which may raise US$100 million (approximately RM418.8 million), as soon as next year Listed.
Sources told Bloomberg that Holstein is in talks with consultants and intends to sell 30% of the stock. Holstein founder Lei Duanyi and Dymon Asia Private Equity are considering this transaction. When asked, the company’s representative stated that a consultant has been appointed to file a listing application next year. Holstein had previously successfully obtained a capital injection from the Malaysian sovereign fund Khazanah, holding a 30% stake in the company.
