More Than 32.91 Million Confirmed Cases Worldwide, Of Which 22.57 Million Have Recovered



Agence France-Presse’s official statistics show that as of 11 o’clock GMT on the 27th (7 o’clock in the evening on the 27th Sept 2020 in Malaysia), at least 99,8463 people worldwide have died of new coronary pneumonia and at least 32,925,550 cases have been confirmed.


The epidemic broke out in China in December last year. So far, at least 22,574,500 people worldwide are considered to have recovered.


Agence France-Presse collected data provided by national authorities and the World Health Organization (WHO) to make statistics, but this is probably only a part of the actual total number of infections, because many countries only detect cases with symptoms or the most severe symptoms.

According to the proportion of deaths to the population, Peru has the highest mortality rate, with 97 deaths per 100,000 people; followed by Belgium (86), Bolivia (67), Spain (67) and Brazil (67 people).
