Intel Is Approved To Supply Huawei


( Washington, 22nd Sept 2020 ) After the US computer processor manufacturer AMD was approved to supply Huawei, Intel, the largest chip manufacturer in the United States, also stated that it has obtained a license to supply Huawei, so the supply chain can continue to produce Huawei NB project.


According to domestic and foreign media reports, Samsung from South Korea, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., MediaTek, and China Semiconductor International have all applied to the US Department of Commerce for a license to continue to supply Huawei.


The US ban on Chinese telecommunications company Huawei came into effect on the 15th of this month. When the ban takes effect, if companies want to continue to supply Huawei, they must obtain US approval. However, Sino-US relations are tense, and the Huawei ban involves various US departments and agencies. The approval process is complicated. Some analysts believe that companies need to obtain Approval is not easy.
