( Putrajaya, 7th June 2020 ) Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin announced that after the conditional action control order ends on June 9, from June 10 to August 31, he will enter the "restoration action control order" (PKPP) period, nearly all economic fields will be gradually opened by then.
"The conditional action control order will end on June 9, replaced by the "Restoration Action Control Order", which will start from June 10 until August 31."
He said that during the PKPP, everyone will enjoy more relaxation and start daily activities while continuing to follow standard operating procedures (SOP).
Muyuddin said that the government will implement the PKPP with seven strategies, namely strengthening public health, legislation and law enforcement, strengthening border control, fully opening up the economic sphere, new cultural habits, strengthening community responsibilities, and caring for risk groups.
"These strategies will be implemented through the Special Committee for the Implementation of PKPP Ministers chaired by the senior minister of defense. In the case of state governments, they will be implemented by committees established by the state ministers and chief ministers."
He pointed out that the implementation of these strategies must obtain the cooperation and support of the central and state government mechanisms, the private sector, non-governmental organizations and community leaders.
Muyuddin said that the recovery phase is part of the "exit strategy" since the implementation of the management order on March 18 and the implementation of the conditional execution order on May 4.
"Fortunately, since the implementation of the administrative order and conditional administrative order, my country's new coronary pneumonia infection rate has declined. The Ministry of Health does not show that the infection rate of Chinese people is declining and under control."
